Today's the oil spread between VLSFO and IFO380 is USD 91.5/mt based on the average of major 4 ports. Oil spread is increasing day by day and it seems early next year, it could touch the USD 100/mt. Ship's owners seem to have a headache in deciding which option would be better between VLSFO or HSFO with SOx scrubber system.
